Ernest Benny Jeffries

Ernest Benny Jeffries was born in Guthrie, OK to Frank and Leverda Jeffries. Ben loved fishing, motorcycles, Facebook and his family. He attended Canon City High School. In the early 1970s was drafted into the army and after being honorably discharged he moved back to Colorado. 

Ben held many jobs but loved trucking and working with his brothers in the oil fields in Wyoming. He lived in Denver for a while then he moved back to Canon City in 2002. 

Ben passed away peacefully on Sept 11th, 2019.

Surviving Ben are sisters, Jaunita Womach, Jancie Lutz; brother, Ted Jeffries; sons, Corey Jeffries and Rick Jeffries along with numerous grandchildren; two great-children; and his little cat, Tyson. 

          He was preceded in death by both of his parents and three brothers.
