Obituary
Rev. Armin F. Stolp entered eternal rest on March 14, 2023, in his home surrounded by family. Armin was born to Rev. Theo and Lisette Stolp on March 11, 1930, in Greenleaf, Kansas.
Rev. Armin served parishes in Westcliffe, Colorado; Hudson/Fort Lupton, Colorado; Shelton/Lowell, Nebraska; Monte Vista, Colorado; Hunter, Kansas; and Grants, New Mexico. After 47 years in ministry, Rev. Armin retired in 2004.
Armin is survived by his wife, Arlene Stolp; sons: Allen (Wanda) Stolp, Alex (Lara) Stolp, Albert (Barbara) Stolp; grandchildren: Alexis, Nura, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Tristan and Madison; his sister, Harriet; along with nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Rev. Armin is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Theo Stolp and Lisette Stolp; his sisters, Dorothy and Theresa; and his brother, Werner.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lutheran Indian Ministries, 15350 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, WI 53005-2622; Sangre De Cristo Hospice, 601 Greenwood Ave., Canon City, CO 81212; or a Ministry of choice.
