Bud L. Yeomans, 91, of Canon City, Colorado, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, from natural causes.
He was born in LaFarge, Wisconsin, on April 11, 1931, to Clarence and Minta (Norris) Yeomans. He married Elonna Winchell on July 18, 1959. He is survived by their four children: Wendy, Brad, Brett, and Brian. He has seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Bud spent three years in the Army during the Korean war. He returned to Wisconsin where he bought his own farm to work and had his parents move in until they passed away. Later, Bud and Elonna moved to Palmer Lake, Colorado, where they raised their family. Bud and his business partner started a Monument Foundation Company where they worked until they retired.
Bud and Elonna moved to Canon City, Colorado, where he started a large garden where he was passionate about selling his fruits and vegetables on the roadside. He loved being outside, either hunting, fishing, or tending to his garden.
He was loved by friends, family, and anybody he met from every place he lived and visited.
He will forever be missed and loved by all.
Services will be held Monday, September 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 1449 S. 9th Street, Canon City. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery to follow.
