Donna Kay Lewis-Hudnall

MOM was born in Oregon City, Oregon on August 25, 1942, and went with the good Lord on September 1, 2021.

Donna moved to Canon City, Colorado in 1944, then moved to Rockvale, Colorado around 1951 where she grew up and married Alton Edward Hudnall in 1964. She had many jobs, a bus driver, Willie Wonka’s, the Florence swimming pool, and Albertsons. However, if you were to ask her, she would reply that her favorite job was being a mother and homemaker. She was every child’s mom, having every kid imaginable running through our house; all were welcome any day, any time.

She is survived by three brothers, Marion Larry Lewis, Bobby Jay Lewis, and twin Donnie Ray Lewis; four sons, Lonnie Joseph Hudnall, David Wayne Hudnall, Nickie James Hudnall, and Daniel Anthony Hudnall; thirteen grandchildren, Jimmy Thomas, Marcus Hudnall, Loni Jo Hudnall, Daniel Webster, Mark Webster, Cassy Lehl, Nicole Mata, Daylin Hudnall, Summer Hudnall, Cody Farrington, Reagan Hudnall, Doug Hudnall, and Samantha Hudnall; as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in passing by her parents, Lola Almira Hocket-Lewis, and Lloyd Marion Lewis; brothers, Harold “Bill” William Wood, Francis “Jack” Patrick-Lewis, Boyd Lewis, and Ivan Wilson Patrick.  

Her Celebration of Life will be held on September 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Wilson’s Chapel, 1449 S. 9th St., Canon City, Colorado. Her services will be conducted by Pastor Ron MacFarlane.
