Mary Ann Jones

Mary Ann Jones passed away August 9, 2022 at her home in Canon City, CO. She was born March 15, 1934 in Cripple Creek, CO, to Helen and Joseph Delaney. Mary Ann was a military wife, and enjoyed traveling to Germany and all around the United States. She was skilled at crocheting, and made many king sized blankets for her family. She loved playing bingo, camping and fishing, and enjoying the Colorado lifestyle, but most of all, she was a homemaker that loved her family. Mary Ann always made sure her grandchildren had a good Christmas, and lived her life with love and generosity. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

            Mary Ann is survived by her children, William (Deborah) Jones and Paul (Amy) Jones; grandchildren, Mary Fisher, Earl Schofield, Rebecca Arena, and Amanda Osborn; and great-grandchildren, Brandon Fisher and Dylan Arena. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; and daughter, Cathy.

            A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022, 10 a.m. at Holt Chapel of the Garden: 806 Macon Avenue Canon City, CO 81212.
