Sharon Allen

Sharon Lee Tripp Allen entered this world on July 25, 1942, in Berkeley, California, the beloved daughter of Lee and Olive Tripp. She entered her heavenly home on July 29, 2026, surrounded by the love and memories of those whose lives she touched.

Sharon shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, James Allen. Together they built a family founded on love, faith, and enduring commitment.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cindy (Robert) Pryor and Brenda (Stan) Woodford; her three grandchildren, James Pryor, Emily Miller, and Anna Boone; and her two great-grandchildren, Robert Pryor and Zivah.

Sharon attended Florence High School before continuing her education to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing. She dedicated her career to caring for others, serving with compassion in both the hospital setting and at a Veterans Administration retirement home. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on the many lives she touched.

Outside of her career, Sharon found great joy in spending time with her family. She loved traveling, exploring new adventures, and learning about history. Her curiosity, warmth, and caring heart made every gathering special, and the memories she created will be treasured for generations.

Though she is no longer with us, Sharon's legacy of love, service, and compassion will continue to live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sharon Lee Allen will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Lifeway Baptist Church: 1007 Elm Ave. in Canon City.
