Timothy Lozano Obituary

With great sadness and broken hearts Timothy Michael Lozano, father, brother, and friend went to be with Jesus on September 15, 2021. Tim was born on February 10, 1960, in Florence, Colorado to Lorenzo Lozano and Jovita Guadalupe Perez.

Tim graduated from Florence High School and soon after joined the Air Force. He served his country as a sergeant from 1979 until 1983, receiving many honors and recommendations. Tim loved fishing and camping with his son, brothers, and sisters. Recently, he took up a hobby collecting antiques. He would sell some and keep others as treasures. Beyond all else, his greatest love was his son Taylor, a police officer in Canon City.

He is survived by his son, Taylor; sisters, Lorrie (Steve) Ortega, Sevy (Ken) Cruzen, Shirley (Mike) Lauer; brothers, Joe (JoVeeda) Lozano, David (Trish) Lozano of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Chris (Marilyn) Lozano of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces, all whom he adored and gave him great pleasure.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Lozano; mother, Lupe Lozano; brother, Anthony Lozano; and nephew, Michael Lauer.

A Vigil with Rosary will be held at Saint Michael Catholic Church in Canon City on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 6:00 PM.
